Starward Two Fold Double Grain Whisky is a smooth, approachable Melbourne made whisky crafted from Australian wheat and single malt whisky. Matured in Australian red wine barrels, it brings Starward’s signature juicy fruit character together with soft grain sweetness, oak spice and a mellow finish.

This is a versatile Australian whisky that is just as comfortable neat as it is over ice or mixed into classic whisky cocktails. Expect red berries, tropical fruit, vanilla, cereal and gentle spice; bright, generous and easy to enjoy. Two Fold is a wheat and single malt whisky folded together and matured in Australian red wine barrels.

Tasting Notes

Palate: Smooth and balanced, with juicy red fruit, sweet vanilla, toasted grain, soft oak and a gentle spicy lift.

About the Distillery / Producer / Region

Starward is one of Australia’s most recognised modern whisky distilleries, founded in Melbourne and known for maturing whisky in Australian red wine barrels. Melbourne’s famously changeable climate helps the spirit interact with oak quickly and dynamically, building texture, fruit and spice.

Two Fold uses malted barley for depth and Australian wheat for a drier, aromatic grain profile. The whisky is matured separately in Australian red wine barrels sourced from wineries that produce Shiraz, Cabernet and Pinot Noir, before being combined for balance and drinkability.
