About The Whisky

The Singleton of Dufftown Malt Master’s Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a smooth, easy drinking Speyside single malt with soft fruit, honeyed sweetness and gentle spice. Matured in a mix of refill, ex-sherry and bourbon casks, it offers a slightly sweeter, more delicate style than The Singleton 12 Year Old.

Expect fresh pear, honey, vanilla, sweet spice and a faint touch of wood ash. It is approachable, mellow and very easy to enjoy, making it a great pick for those who prefer Scotch whisky with softness and fruit rather than peat smoke.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fresh pear, candied apple, honey, vanilla, golden syrup, soft spice and light toasted oak.

Palate: Smooth and delicate, with pear drops, honey, vanilla fudge, sweet spice, fresh fruit and a gentle grassy lift.

Finish: Medium and warming, with lingering vanilla, white pepper, soft oak and a faint wood-ash note.

Serving Suggestions

Enjoy neat, over a large ice cube, or with a splash of water to open up more fruit and honeyed malt. It also works beautifully in a simple whisky highball with soda and a citrus twist, or in lighter Scotch cocktails where a smooth Speyside style is preferred.

The Singleton of Dufftown is distilled at Dufftown Distillery in Speyside, one of Scotland’s most famous single malt whisky regions. Whisky has been produced at the Dufftown distillery since 1896, and the house style is known for smooth texture, rich fruit, nutty malt and an elegantly dry finish.

Speyside whiskies are often prized for their approachable fruit, honey, vanilla, nut and oak tones. The Malt Master’s expression leans into that gentle, easy-going side of the region, with refill, sherry and bourbon casks adding balance, sweetness and subtle complexity.
