Lark Devil’s Storm No.183 Single Malt Whisky is a richly layered limited release Tasmanian whisky built for depth, texture and impact. Bottled at 42% ABV, it brings together rare port and sherry cask influence with delicate Tasmanian peat smoke, creating a style that feels both powerful and polished. This is a flavour-forward single malt with real richness, but it still carries impressive balance through the glass.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Scorched red fruit, roasted pecan, cacao and soft smoke.

Palate: Smooth almond fudge, rich chocolate, dark fruit and warming spice, with a silky, full-bodied texture.

Finish: Long, warming and indulgent, with lingering oak, smoke and sweet spice.

Cask Influence: Rare vintage Port and Sherry casks, including Seppeltsfield Tawny Port, Australian PX, Apera and Muscadelle, with additional finishing in American oak

Serving Suggestions

Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the richer fruit and cask notes. It also works beautifully over a large cube when you want to soften the smoke and let the sweeter port and sherry elements come forward.

Lark is one of the foundational names in modern Australian whisky and is widely recognised as a pioneer of Tasmanian single malt. The story began in 1989, with the distillery established in 1992 by Bill and Lyn Lark.
