Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Heavily Peated 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml is a bold, smoky Islay whisky with power, texture and coastal elegance. Bottled at 50% ABV, it delivers serious peat intensity while still keeping the freshness, balance and clarity Bruichladdich is known for.

Peated to a heavyweight 40 PPM, Port Charlotte 10 is distilled through Bruichladdich’s tall, narrow necked stills, giving it richness and aromatic lift alongside its smoky backbone. It is conceived, distilled, matured and bottled on Islay, always un-chill filtered and colouring free. 

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Peat smoke, sea breeze, lemon zest, vanilla, toasted oak, ginger, butterscotch and coastal salinity.

Palate: Rich and smoky, with sweet malt, citrus peel, vanilla, honey, pepper, dry peat, sea salt and warming oak spice.

Finish: Long, smoky and clean, with lingering citrus, pepper, sweet oak, sea spray and elegant Islay peat.

Serving Suggestions

Enjoy neat to appreciate the smoke, texture and coastal depth, or add a few drops of water to open up more citrus, vanilla and malt sweetness. It is also excellent over a large ice cube or in bold whisky cocktails where peat smoke is the feature.
