Kamo-Midori Junmai Ginjo “Omachi” is a beautifully balanced premium sake made from Omachi rice, a highly regarded heritage sake rice variety. It sits in a refined, medium bodied style with gentle fruit, soft texture and a subtle savoury depth, making it a very approachable introduction to Junmai Ginjo while still offering plenty of character for experienced sake drinkers.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Gentle melon, lychee and a hint of black sugar.

Palate: Soft and delicate, with melon, steamed rice and a light caramel note carried by smooth texture and good fruit weight.

Finish: Long, smooth and quietly savoury, with lingering rice character and soft sweetness.
