First crafted in the 1950s, St Henri has earned a cult following for its graceful ageing potential, rich fruit expression, and restrained use of oak. The 2014 vintage continues this legacy with structure, complexity, and impeccable balance.
Made predominantly from Shiraz with a small inclusion of Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine was matured in large, seasoned oak vats to preserve its vibrant fruit profile. The result is a beautifully layered red, textural, expressive, and built to evolve over decades. A favourite among collectors and Penfolds aficionados.

Aroma: Ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and mulberry, hints of mocha, anise, and dried herbs, subtle earthy and savoury notes
Palate: Rich plum and dark berry fruits, fine tannins and a silken texture, notes of dark chocolate and spice on a long, elegant finish
Food Pairing Suggestions
Perfect with slow-cooked beef short ribs, roast lamb with rosemary, aged cheddar, or mushroom and truffle risotto. Serve at 16–18°C to bring out its depth and complexity.
