A chocolatey, ripe Barossa cabernet sauvignon with a lot of drinking appeal over the medium-term. The fruits are blackberry, black cherry and blackcurrant with layered baking spice, cedar, vanillin oak, licorice, leaf litter, tobacco and olive tapenade. It sits at the lighter end of full bodied and is packed with ripe berry fruits with fine chocolatey tannins and a balanced finish showing decent carry indeed. Dave Brookes
