Halliday Wine Companion - 93 Points
The mix of savouriness and fruit sweetness is very well done here. It tastes of plums and blueberries essentially, but hits of earth, briar, roasted spice and sweet-accented floral characters give the wine an excellent sense of 'spread'. It's not a one-trick pony. There were no notes accompanying the wine, but it feels as though a dash of viognier was included here; if so, it's been used to positive effect. Rusty tannin completes an attractive picture.
