Pikes Luccio Fiano 2026 is bright, generous and seriously easy to like. Fresh melon, green apple and lime lead the way, with white florals, citrus blossom and a little tropical fruit adding plenty of lift. The palate is rounder and more textured than you might expect, with yellow nectarine, green pear, mandarin and preserved citrus all coming through.

There is a soft creamy feel through the middle, but the acidity keeps everything fresh and nicely defined. A little pithy grip on the finish gives the wine extra shape, so it feels more interesting than a simple crisp white without becoming heavy.

Why buy it? Because Fiano is one of the most exciting white varieties in Clare Valley right now, and Pikes has leaned into it properly. This is their largest Fiano release to date, with fruit from estate vineyards and a growing number of Clare Valley growers, giving you a wine with freshness, texture and plenty of character for the money.

Tasting Notes

About The Winery

Pikes Wines is a family owned Clare Valley producer based at Polish Hill River and has been making wine since 1984. Riesling may be the name most people associate with Pikes, but the Luccio range shows a more Mediterranean side of the winery, with varieties such as Fiano and Pinot Grigio becoming an increasingly important part of the lineup.

The 2026 Luccio Fiano comes from estate fruit and selected Clare Valley growers. Pikes sees real potential for Fiano in the region, and this release makes a pretty convincing case for that view. It has enough texture to keep things interesting, but still finishes fresh and clean.
