Aroma: Lifted red berries, pomegranate, fresh strawberries, stewed plum and a hint of anise.

Minim Wines is a small Victorian producer focused on expressive, minimal intervention wines with energy, texture and a strong sense of place. The Floyd label captures a youthful, vibrant side of Nero d’Avola, showing how well Mediterranean varieties can perform in Victoria’s warm, dry growing regions.

The Nero d’Avola fruit comes from Chalmers Vineyard in Northern Heathcote, a site well known for Italian grape varieties and sustainable viticulture. Heathcote’s ancient Cambrian soils, warm days and cool nights make it one of Victoria’s most exciting regions for alternative varieties, producing wines with brightness, spice and natural structure.
