A refined Yarra Valley Chardonnay with citrus purity, layered texture and Yeringberg’s signature restraint.

Yeringberg Chardonnay 2023 is a composed, cool climate Chardonnay that balances clarity and finesse with understated depth. Built around natural acidity and careful oak integration, it delivers pure fruit expression, savoury detail and a long, mineral line. Elegant rather than showy, it’s a Chardonnay that opens beautifully with time in the glass and has the structure to develop further in bottle.

Halliday Wine Companion - 95 Points

A combination of natural and inoculated ferments, then racked to hogsheads (30% new) and with 30% mlf. A bright green gold. Expressive, with a tangerine, lemon peel and almond-scented bouquet. A little chalkier and more restrained on the palate than the '22, this very nicely balanced and structured wine should age gracefully over the next five to seven years at least. Philip Rich

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Lemon zest, white peach and nectarine with hints of almond meal, subtle flint and gentle spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied and finely textured, layering citrus and stone fruit with restrained creaminess and seamless oak.
Finish: Long, saline and precise with lingering mineral drive.

Serving Suggestions

Serve at 10–12°C. A brief decant or extra time in the glass will enhance complexity and texture.
