About The Fortified Wine

Williams & Humbert Don Zoilo Oloroso En Rama 15 Year Old Sherry is a rich, dry and deeply savoury fortified wine from Jerez in Andalucía, Spain. Made from Palomino and aged through the traditional solera system, it shows the nutty, oxidative complexity that makes mature Oloroso such a classic sherry style.

The “En Rama” bottling gives this wine a more direct and expressive feel, with minimal handling to preserve texture, character and depth. Expect intense walnut, roasted almond, dried fig, spice and polished oak, with a dry palate and a long, warming finish.

About The Producer

Williams & Humbert is one of the great historic names of Jerez. Founded in 1877 by Sir Alexander Williams and Arthur Humbert, the bodega has become one of Spain’s most respected sherry and brandy producers, with a long connection to classic Jerez styles and traditional solera ageing.

The house is especially known for its deep stocks of mature sherry, including the Don Zoilo range, which focuses on characterful aged styles such as Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso, Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximénez. These wines celebrate the unique climate of Jerez, where warm Andalusian conditions, chalky albariza soils and long cask ageing create wines of remarkable savoury depth and personality.

Cellaring Potential

This is already mature and ready to enjoy, having spent 15 years ageing before release. It is not designed for long term bottle cellaring in the same way as table wine, but it will hold well unopened in a cool, dark place. Once opened, store in the fridge and enjoy over several weeks.
