Triennes Rosé 2025 is everything you want from a good Provence Rosé. Pale, elegant and beautifully refreshing, with lovely fruit and just enough texture to make it a little more interesting than your average summer pink.

Wild strawberry, raspberry and delicate red berries lead the way, with white flowers, citrus and a subtle hint of marshmallow underneath. The palate is fresh and rounded, with gentle acidity, fine texture and a clean, dry finish. It has that lovely balance between crisp refreshment and a little extra generosity that makes good French Rosé so appealing.

And while pale pink Rosé certainly looks the part sitting on a table in the sunshine, this one has considerably more going for it than a pretty colour.

Triennes brings some serious Burgundian winemaking pedigree to Provence, producing a Rosé that delivers elegance, freshness and genuine character without the inflated price tag of some of its more fashionable neighbours. The 2025 vintage also received 90 points from Falstaff, which makes the case even stronger.

About The Winery

Domaine de Triennes was established in 1990 by three friends with an impressive background in French wine: Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac, Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée Conti and Michel Macaux.

Rather than settling for another vineyard in Burgundy, they headed south to Provence, convinced that the region had the potential to produce wines of genuine quality and elegance. They discovered an estate in the Var, near Nans les Pins, where limestone rich soils, warm Mediterranean sunshine and cooler nights offered ideal conditions for producing balanced, expressive wines.

Today, Triennes is particularly well regarded for its Rosé, combining the freshness and relaxed charm of Provence with the precision and attention to detail you would expect from such experienced winemakers.

The 2025 Rosé is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Merlot, producing a pale, fragrant and beautifully balanced wine with delicate red fruit and a refreshing dry finish.

There are plenty of Provence Rosés competing for attention, often with increasingly elaborate bottles and equally ambitious prices. Triennes takes a refreshingly sensible approach. Put the effort into the wine and let the quality do the talking.
