About The Winery

Tim Adams Wines is a family owned Clare Valley producer with a proud history in South Australian wine. The story began in the 1980s, when Tim Adams and Pam Goldsack joined with local coopers Bill and Jill Wray to create a small wine and oak cask business. The first wines were released under the Adams and Wray label in 1986, before Tim and Pam continued under the Tim Adams Wines name from 1987.

The winery is based in Clare, one of Australia’s benchmark regions for Riesling. Clare Valley has warm sunny days, cool nights and high altitude vineyard sites, helping Riesling develop pure citrus flavour while retaining fresh natural acidity. This combination gives the wines their famous lime intensity, floral lift and long crisp finish.

Tim Adams Riesling remains one of the winery’s signature styles. Only free run juice from selected parcels is used, helping create a delicate wine with purity, intensity and balance. It is a classic expression of Clare Valley Riesling, made for freshness, flavour and reliable quality.
