About the Winery
Stargazer Wines was founded in 2012 by winemaker Samantha Connew in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley. Named after Dutch explorer Abel Tasman, Stargazer is dedicated to producing small-batch, site-driven wines that reflect Tasmania’s unique terroir. With a focus on minimal intervention and expressive varietal character, Stargazer has quickly earned a reputation as one of Tasmania’s most exciting boutique producers.
