Seguinot Bordet Petit Chablis 2025 750ml

“Bright Petit Chablis with lemon, green apple, white flowers and classic mineral freshness.”

Seguinot Bordet Petit Chablis 2025 is a fresh, energetic expression of Chardonnay from one of Chablis' long established family domaines. It delivers the citrus, orchard fruit and mineral character people come looking for in Chablis, in a lighter and immediately approachable style.

Fresh lemon, green apple and pear lead the way, with white flowers and a subtle stony character adding detail. The palate is dry and crisp, with plenty of citrus freshness and a clean mineral finish.

This is a very easy introduction to Chablis if you enjoy Chardonnay but prefer freshness over richness. There is no need for layers of buttery flavour here. Citrus, minerals and refreshment are doing perfectly well on their own.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fresh lemon, green apple and pear with delicate white flowers and subtle mineral notes.

Palate: Light and crisp with citrus, orchard fruit and bright acidity, balanced by a fine stony character.

Finish: Clean and refreshing with lingering lemon, green apple and a gently saline mineral edge.

Serving Suggestions

Excellent with oysters, prawns, grilled fish, scallops and other fresh seafood.

It also works beautifully with goat's cheese, fresh salads and lighter chicken dishes. Petit Chablis is particularly good when you want something crisp and refreshing without the wine overpowering the food.

About The Winery

Domaine Seguinot Bordet is based in Maligny, just north of the town of Chablis, and the family's roots in the region stretch back several generations.

Today the domaine is known for producing Chardonnay across the Chablis appellations, from Petit Chablis through to Premier Cru. The wines focus on the freshness, citrus character and distinctive mineral qualities that have made this small corner of northern Burgundy famous around the world.

Petit Chablis sits at the most approachable end of the range. You still get unmistakable Chablis character, just without quite as much ceremony around opening the bottle.

Cellaring Potential

The 2025 is designed primarily for youthful drinking, when its citrus, green apple and floral characters are at their brightest.

Enjoy now or over the next 3 to 4 years. There is little reason to wait too long when freshness is such a large part of the appeal.
