Sailors Grave Icarus Star Red IPA is a richly coloured, hop forward IPA that blends bright modern hops with a satisfying red-malt backbone. Brewed in Orbost, East Gippsland, it delivers citrus and pine lift over layers of caramel, toasted malt and gentle sweetness, bold, balanced and full of character.

Punchy yet approachable, Icarus Star brings the best of both worlds: the bitterness and aroma of an IPA, with the depth and warmth of a red ale. It’s a great pick for hop lovers who also appreciate malt complexity.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Pine resin, citrus peel, light caramel malt and subtle floral hops.
Palate: Hop driven and balanced with grapefruit, orange zest, toffee malt and firm bitterness.
Finish: Dry, clean and lingering with resinous hops and toasted malt warmth.
