Rodenbach Alexander is a renowned Belgian sour cherry ale, first brewed in 1986 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of brewery founder Alexander Rodenbach. This exceptional brew is a blend of two-thirds aged Rodenbach (matured for two years in oak foeders) and one-third younger ale, macerated with sour cherries. The result is a harmonious balance of tartness and fruitiness, with complex oak and subtle balsamic notes.
