The Rob Hall Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2024 is a refined expression of cool-climate Australian winemaking, crafted by former Mount Mary winemaker Rob Hall. Sourced from the Full Moon Vineyard in Gladysdale and Rob's family vineyard near Healesville, this Chardonnay showcases the elegance and purity characteristic of the Yarra Valley. This Chardonnay is ideal for pairing with grilled seafood, creamy pastas, or roasted poultry. Its balance of fruit intensity and refreshing acidity makes it a versatile choice for various occasions.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Yellow nectarine, cream, and floral notes, complemented by toasty lees character.
Palate: Textural and long, featuring refreshing acidity and a saline, pithy finish.
Winemaking: Whole-bunch pressed with a portion undergoing 24-hour skin contact to enhance structure and complexity. The focus is on building texture and phenolics from skin tannins and solids rather than relying on oak.
