Reckless Brewing Stout is a smooth stout with dark chocolate, roasted coffee, citrus hops and a clean finish. At 5.8% ABV, it has all the comforting roasted flavour you want from a good stout, with a brighter hop character that keeps it fresh and very easy to enjoy.

Coffee, cocoa and toasted malt bring plenty of depth, while Citra, Cascade and Centennial hops add a gentle citrus lift. It is rich without being too heavy, with enough bitterness to balance the darker malt flavours and keep you coming back for another sip.

This is a great pick for those who love classic stout but enjoy a little extra freshness and hop character in the glass.

About The Brewery, History And Region

Reckless Brewing Co is an independent brewery based in Bathurst in the Central West of New South Wales. Founded by long time friends Grace, Jarrod and Alice, Reckless grew from a shared love of good beer into a brewery known for fresh, approachable beers with plenty of personality.

The brewery operates from a heritage former flour mill in Bathurst, giving it a great connection to the history and character of the town. The range covers everything from crisp lagers and pale ales to hop driven releases and darker beers like this stout.

Reckless keeps things relaxed and flavour focused, brewing beers that are interesting without feeling complicated. Their Stout fits that approach perfectly, delivering familiar roasted malt and chocolate character with a lively citrus hop twist.
