About The Winery

Polperro Wines is based on the Mornington Peninsula, one of Victoria’s most respected cool climate wine regions. Established in 2009, Polperro focuses on estate grown and single vineyard wines from carefully chosen sites across the Peninsula.

The Mornington Peninsula is shaped by maritime influence, rolling hills, cool nights and a long growing season. These conditions are especially well suited to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, helping the wines develop fragrance, freshness and fine natural acidity.

Polperro’s vineyard approach is centred on sustainability and regenerative agriculture, with a mix of biological, biodynamic and organic practices used across its sites. The Pinot Gris is handled with care in the winery, with gentle pressing, wild fermentation and time in barrel helping build texture, complexity and depth while keeping the wine fresh and balanced.
