Tasting Notes

Place of Changing Winds is a small, detail-driven Victorian producer founded by Rob Walters, renowned for meticulous viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking. Working with cool climate sites across Victoria, the focus is on transparency, balance and age worthiness.
Harcourt’s elevation and cooler growing conditions suit Rhône whites beautifully, delivering natural acidity and fine phenolic structure. This blend reflects the region’s capacity for whites of restraint and longevity, interpreted through Place of Changing Winds’ precise, thoughtful lens.

Drinking well now with air, and well suited to cellaring until 2033+, where additional honeyed, nutty and savoury notes will emerge.
