Pikes Luccio Fiano is a bright, medium bodied Clare Valley white that shows why Fiano continues to build such a strong following in Australia. This release brings together white peach, firm pear and lime citrus aromatics with a textured palate of yellow stone fruit, apricot kernel and subtle tropical notes. A tidy line of acidity keeps everything fresh and balanced, making this a vibrant, modern white with plenty of character.

Aroma: White peach, firm pear and lime citrus florals.

Palate: Medium bodied and textural, with yellow stone fruit, apricot kernel and tropical fruit layered through the palate. 

Finish: Fresh and clean, with a gentle touch of ground ginger spice and a tidy acid line.

Winemaking

Fruit is sourced from the Polish Hill River Estate together with a Leasingham vineyard in the Clare Valley. The style focuses on purity, texture and drinkability, giving the wine both varietal character and an easy, refreshing flow.

About the Winery / History

Pikes is a long established Clare Valley producer with family roots in South Australia dating back to 1886. While the wine business began later, the Pike family name has a long history in beverages, and the Luccio range reflects a more contemporary, Mediterranean inspired side of the portfolio.

Best enjoyed while its freshness, texture and vibrant fruit are at their peak, though the balance and structure suggest it will drink well over the short term under good conditions. This cellaring note is an inference based on the wine’s style and composition.
