Oakridge Hazeldene Chardonnay 2023 is a site specific Chardonnay from Hazeldene Vineyard in Gladysdale, delivering cool-climate precision with serious depth. Sourced from a north-facing site on red volcanic soils and handled with a traditional, low-intervention mindset (natural ferment, puncheons, lees time), it’s a Chardonnay that feels both powerful and finely etched ,vibrant now, and built to evolve beautifully.

From chardonnay planted at the Hazeldene vineyard at Gladysdale in '13. Awarded the trophy for the Best White Wine at last year's Yarra Valley Wine Show, it's not hard to see why. Complex and full of energy with its bouquet of white peach, chalk, grilled nuts and a touch of flint. Fans out beautifully on the long, saline and very satisfying palate. Tasting Notes

• Aroma: White peach, chalk, grilled nuts and a touch of flint, with lifted white florals and citrus peel.

• Palate: Taut, energetic and mineral-driven, fanning out with lemon rind, peach and a saline thread.

• Finish: Long, savoury and very satisfying, with chalky persistence and clean, mouth-watering length.

Food Pairing / Serving Suggestions

Serve at 10–12°C. A brief decant or time in the glass will amplify the flint, nut and mineral detail.
