Mr Mick Tempranillo 2024 is one of those reds that is just really easy to like. It is bright, juicy and full of fresh red fruit, with soft tannins and a little savoury spice giving it plenty of character without making it too serious.

Fresh cherry, strawberry and redcurrant are the stars here, with roasted coffee bean, subtle oak and a touch of spice sitting quietly in the background. The palate is smooth and approachable, with enough freshness to keep you coming back for another glass.

About The Winery

Mr Mick is based in South Australia’s Clare Valley and is part of the Tim Adams Wines family. The range takes its name from legendary Clare Valley winemaker Mick Knappstein and focuses on approachable wines with plenty of flavour and personality.

Tempranillo is a great fit for the warmer parts of the Clare Valley, producing juicy reds with bright fruit, gentle spice and soft tannins. Mr Mick’s version keeps things fresh and uncomplicated, making it a great option for anyone wanting to try something a little different from Shiraz or Cabernet.
