About The Brewery, History And Region

Mountain Monk Brewers is an independent, family and veteran owned brewery in Mount Beauty, at the base of Mount Bogong in Victoria’s High Country. The brewery began producing beer on its own brewing system in 2022 and takes inspiration from the long European tradition of monks brewing beer for travellers and their communities.

The pristine mountain environment and local High Country identity are central to the brewery, which produces its beer alongside a welcoming restaurant and beer garden.
