Mountain Monk Brewers is an independent, family owned and veteran owned brewery based in Mount Beauty in Victoria’s High Country. The brewery sits beneath Mount Bogong and is surrounded by alpine peaks, rivers and forests, giving the range a strong connection to its mountain home.

The business began when the owners took over the former Mount Beauty Workman’s Club and transformed it into a welcoming local venue. A brewery was later added, allowing the team to produce its own range of beers inspired by regional hospitality and traditional European monastic brewing culture.

Mountain Monk Brewers combines this old world philosophy with a modern Australian approach to craft beer. Its beers are made for locals, travellers and those exploring the Victorian High Country, with a focus on flavour, community and approachable drinking.
