Marion Borgo Valpolicella 2022 is the drink at home side of Valpolicella done properly; light on its feet, fragrant, and quietly complex. It’s all about red cherry and wild strawberry energy, a flicker of herbs and spice, and a fresh, savoury finish that keeps you reaching for another glass.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Crunchy red cherries, wild strawberries, gentle herbal lift and a touch of spice.
Palate: Light, juicy and ethereal with bright red fruit and fine, feathery tannins.
Finish: Clean, savoury and refreshing, with subtle spice and silky tannin glide.

A brilliant match for prosciutto and salumi, pizza (especially mushroom or nduja), tomato-based pasta, grilled sausages, roast chicken, or hard Italian cheeses like pecorino.
About the Winery / Producer / Region
Marion’s Borgo is a native variety Valpolicella blend, co-fermented and made in a fresh, minimal fuss style. The 2022 includes Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella plus Oseleta, fermented in stainless steel, then matured with most of the wine staying in tank and a portion moving to large format seasoned oak (around 3000L) for about 12 months before bottling. Importantly, this cuvée is made without appassimento (dried grapes), keeping it bright, vibrant and distinctly “everyday Valpolicella” in the best way.

Delicious now for its juicy energy; will hold and gain extra savoury nuance through 2029.
