Longview Vista Shiraz Barbera 2024 is a bright, juicy and very easy to enjoy Adelaide Hills red. It brings together the spicy depth of Shiraz with the fresh, lively feel of Barbera, giving you a wine that is full of flavour but still feels smooth and energetic.

The 2024 vintage shows blackberry, red cherry, plum, raspberry, white pepper, baking spice and a touch of cocoa. It is medium bodied, fresh and savoury, with silky tannins and a lovely food friendly finish. A great choice for those who enjoy Australian reds with fruit, spice and a little Italian charm.

About The Winery

Longview Vineyard is a family owned estate in Macclesfield, in the Adelaide Hills. The property has become known for bright, expressive wines that show the freshness of the region, along with a strong Italian influence from the Saturno family.

The vineyard was first planted in 1995, and the Saturno family has owned Longview since 2007. Their Italian heritage comes through in wines like this Shiraz Barbera, where classic Australian Shiraz meets the freshness and energy of Barbera.

The Adelaide Hills is a wonderful region for this kind of red. The cooler conditions help keep the fruit bright and the acidity fresh, while Shiraz gives depth and Barbera adds lift, juiciness and a lovely savoury finish.
