LARK Dark Lark No.166 Special Edition Single Malt Whisky 2026 is a limited Tasmanian release from one of Australia’s most important whisky producers. Bold, silky and deeply expressive, it captures the darker, richer side of LARK with fortified cask influence, layered fruit and warming spice.

This 2026 Special Edition brings together dark fruit, sticky figs, spiced syrup, lemon shortbread and wild strawberry, followed by deeper notes of blackcurrant jam, espresso gelato and dark chocolate covered cherries. It is rich and smooth, with enough lift and freshness to keep the palate bright.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Lemon shortbread, wild strawberry, blackcurrant jam, orchid blossom, dark fruit and soft spice.

Palate: Silky and layered with berry custard, espresso gelato, dark chocolate cherries, sticky figs and spiced syrup.

Finish: Long and warming with peach crumble, almond meringue, toasted marzipan and soft honey.
