About The Wine

Hennings Shiraz 2023 is a bold, expressive Heathcote red that captures the richness and intensity of the region beautifully. Deep in colour and full of character, it brings together ripe dark fruit, spice and subtle oak in a polished, full-bodied style. This is a Shiraz with both immediate appeal and the structure to develop gracefully over time.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Blackberry, five spice and quality oak.

Palate: Medium to full bodied, beautifully balanced and packed with intense flavour concentration.

Finish: Long, silky and smooth, with dark fruit and spice carrying through the close.

About the Winery / Producer / Region

Hennings is a Heathcote producer focused on estate Shiraz, with the wines made by David and Liam Anderson of Wild Duck Creek. The winemaking approach centres on traditional methods including minimal handling, natural yeast fermentation and maturation in quality French oak, helping shape the wine’s depth, balance and regional character.

Cellaring Potential

Drinking well now with a decant, and it also has the structure to cellar gracefully for up to 10 years under good conditions.
