About the Distillery

Located in Birchs Bay, Tasmania, Hartshorn Distillery is a family-run operation that produces small batch spirits entirely by hand. Ryan Hartshorn, also the head cheesemaker at Grandvewe Cheeses, uses whey,normally a waste product as the base spirit, creating an ultra-smooth gin that’s both environmentally conscious and artisanal. Every bottle is hand-signed and hand painted, reflecting the care and individuality behind each batch.
