“Classic English ESB with orange marmalade, malt toffee, biscuit, citrus and smooth bitterness.”

Fuller’s ESB is a proper English strong ale with loads of malt character, but still enough hop freshness to keep everything beautifully balanced. Rich mahogany in colour, it brings together orange marmalade, soft toffee and biscuit malt with grassy, peppery hops and a little citrus.

It is fuller and richer than London Pride, with a bit more warmth and depth through the palate, but it never feels heavy or clumsy. The finish is smooth, gently bitter and very satisfying. This is a great beer for anyone who enjoys traditional English ales with plenty of flavour and balance.

Aroma: Orange marmalade, malt toffee, biscuit, citrus and gentle grassy hops.

Palate: Rich and smooth with caramelised malt, biscuit, orange fruit and peppery hop character.

Finish: Long and balanced with lingering malt, citrus and a smooth delicate bitterness.

Brewed with Target, Goldings, Northdown and Challenger hops alongside Pale, Crystal and Chocolate malts, it has more depth and richness than a standard bitter while still keeping that classic English balance.
