Sourced from the Corsini Vineyard in the King Valley, this product is made by the Corsini family who have been farming the land since 1969. The first vines were planted in 1980, and the family has always prioritized soil health in their farming philosophy. The soil is composed of red volcanic clay loams with excellent drainage and high natural fertility. The grapes are handpicked and de-stemmed, followed by a 6-day skin contact period with daily plunging by hand. After being pressed, the wine is aged for 4 months on full lees in stainless steel, then carefully racked, sulphured, and bottled without the use of fining or filtration processes.
