About The Winery

Maison Dominique Piron is a historic Beaujolais producer with deep family roots in the region. The Piron family has been connected to winemaking for many generations, with a strong focus on Gamay and the granite rich slopes that give Beaujolais its freshness, perfume and energy.

Beaujolais Villages sits above basic Beaujolais and is sourced from selected villages in the northern part of the region, where the soils are often more granitic and the wines tend to show extra depth, fragrance and mineral detail. Gamay thrives here, producing reds that are bright, silky and full of red fruit character.

Dominique Piron is known for making expressive Beaujolais with purity and balance. The style is fresh and fruit driven, but never simple, with careful vineyard work and gentle winemaking helping preserve the natural charm of the grape and region.
