Domaine Fabien Coche Bourgogne Aligoté 2023 is a beautifully composed white Burgundy that shows just how serious Aligoté can be in the right hands. Sourced from old vines in Meursault, it brings together ripe orchard fruit, floral lift and bright citrus freshness, with more depth and texture than many wines in the category. The 2023 vintage is fresh, finely detailed and quietly complex, making it a terrific introduction to high quality Burgundy Aligoté.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Pear, white flowers, citrus zest and subtle stone fruit.

Palate: Fresh and finely textured, with ripe orchard fruit, pear, apricot and a gentle saline mineral edge.

Finish: Clean, persistent and lively, with lovely freshness and surprising depth.

Serving Suggestions

Serve well chilled with oysters, grilled whiting, prawn pasta, roast chicken or soft cheeses. Its freshness and texture also make it a strong aperitif style.

About the Winery / Producer / Region

Domaine Fabien Coche is a family estate based in Meursault, with roots dating back to 1940. Formerly known as Coche Bizouard, the domaine farms around 12 hectares across key Côte de Beaune villages and moved its vineyard holdings to organic cultivation from the 2017 vintage, achieving certification in 2023. Fabien Coche took over the family estate in 2005 and has built a strong reputation for finely judged white Burgundy.
