About The Wine

Domaine Collotte Bourgogne Cuvée de Noble Souche 2024 is a beautifully detailed Bourgogne Rouge that overdelivers for its level. Drawn largely from very old vines planted in 1947, it brings together concentration, freshness and polish in a style that feels both classic and immediately appealing. Hand picked fruit, full destemming and stainless steel fermentation keep the wine bright and vibrant, while the old-vine fruit gives it extra depth and generosity through the palate.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Red cherry, dark berries and gentle spice, with a lifted floral edge.

Palate: Fresh and vibrant, with juicy red and dark fruit, lovely depth and a supple, stylish shape.

Finish: Finely balanced and persistent, with freshness and subtle savoury detail carrying through the close.

A lovely match for roast chicken, duck, mushroom dishes, pork loin or softer washed rind cheeses.

About the Winery / Producer / Region

Domaine Collotte is a family estate based in Marsannay-la-Côte, where the heart of the domaine remains firmly rooted. Over time, the estate has grown from 3 hectares to around 16 hectares, with holdings extending into appellations including Chambolle Musigny, Fixin and Gevrey Chambertin. Cuvée de Noble Souche reflects that strong family and village connection, while also drawing on old vine fruit from Champ Forey and Chambolle Musigny.

Drinking beautifully now for its freshness and fruit purity, with enough depth and balance to reward short to medium term cellaring under good conditions.
