De Iuliis Semillon 2025 is a classic young Hunter Valley Semillon with intense citrus flavour, light body and a crisp line of refreshing acidity. Fresh lemon, lime and Meyer lemon zest lead the way, joined by a delicate jasmine note and a clean, focused finish.

The fruit comes from Semillon vines planted on the De Iuliis family’s Lovedale Road property during the early 1990s. The hot and dry 2025 growing season produced excellent quality fruit, while a compressed harvest helped preserve freshness, purity and vibrant regional character.

About De Iuliis Wines And The Hunter Valley

Joss and Anna De Iuliis purchased the Lovedale Road property in 1987, with the first Semillon and Chardonnay vines planted in 1990. The family opened its cellar door in 2001, followed by the winery in 2002, bringing vineyard, winemaking and hospitality together in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country.

Today, De Iuliis produces wines from both established family vineyards and historic sites across the Hunter Valley. The Lovedale Road vineyard covers approximately 15 hectares and is naturally low yielding, producing concentrated fruit with strong regional character.

Hunter Valley Semillon is renowned for its distinctive transformation in bottle. It begins light, citrus driven and tightly structured, gradually developing deeper notes of toast, lanolin, honey and lemon curd without relying on oak maturation.

Cellaring Potential

Enjoy now for its fresh lemon, lime and jasmine character, or cellar for five years or longer. With bottle age, the vibrant citrus flavours should become rounder and creamier, developing notes reminiscent of lemon meringue.
