Chur Cheech And Chong Hazy IPA is a juicy fresh hop hazy IPA with tropical fruit, citrus and gentle grassy freshness. Brewed at 6.0% ABV with freshly harvested Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin hops, it captures the vivid aroma and energy of the New Zealand hop harvest.

The palate is soft, cloudy and generously flavoured, with notes of gooseberry, ripe tropical fruit and juicy citrus. Fresh hop character adds a delicate green and grassy edge, while restrained bitterness keeps the beer smooth, balanced and highly drinkable.

About The Brewery And Region

Chur beers are produced by Behemoth Brewing Company, an independent New Zealand brewery founded in 2013 by brewer Andrew Childs. The brewery began as a contract brewing operation, creating beers at several different New Zealand breweries before establishing its own permanent home.

Behemoth now brews from its brewery and Churly’s Brewpub in Mount Eden, Auckland. The brewery is known for full flavoured modern beers, bold can artwork and playful names, with a particular focus on expressive pale ales and hop driven releases.

New Zealand fresh hop season takes place for only a short period each year. The freshly harvested hops are transported quickly from the growing regions around Nelson to the brewery, allowing them to be used while their aromas and natural oils are at their most vivid.

Cheech And Chong celebrates this annual harvest with Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin, two highly regarded New Zealand varieties known for tropical fruit, citrus, white grape and distinctive fresh green character.
