Chikurin Junmai Fukamari Sake is a beautifully balanced, gently rich and impeccably smooth Junmai from one of Japan’s most respected boutique sake breweries. With layered umami, soft texture and clean precision, it’s a versatile sake that appeals to both newcomers and seasoned sake lovers. Store in cool dark places and refrigerate after opening. To maintain quality, please consume as soon as possible after opening.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Subtle notes of steamed rice, white florals, melon and delicate nuttiness.
Palate: Silky and rounded with gentle sweetness, soft rice umami, hints of pear, almond and a whisper of earthy depth. Beautifully pure and balanced.
Finish: Clean, smooth and lingering with soft umami and faint mineral lift.

About the Brewery / Region
Produced by Marumoto Shuzō, established in 1867 in Okayama Prefecture, the brewery is known for its meticulous craftsmanship and estate-grown rice. Chikurin (“Bamboo Forest”) is their premium line, showcasing elegant, pure styles made with traditional techniques, soft local water and a deep commitment to harmony and balance.
