From the Glenhope vineyard in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, the Bindi Dhillon Glenhope Merlot & Friends 2023 is a supple and bright Merlot dominated blend with complexity and structure added through the inclusion of Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Handcrafted by Michael Dhillon, Halliday’s 2022 Winemaker of the Year, this wine earned 90 points in the Halliday Wine Companion, underscoring its balance, charm, and finesse.

Another new addition to the Dhillon label, the back label stating merlot’s friends are malbec, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. The friends are talking, as this is in sync and rather savoury, even if full of plums, sour cherries/pomegranate and currants, plus woodsmoke, fresh herbs, joss sticks and some meaty reduction.
