About The Wine

Bellbrae Estate Bird Rock Pinot Noir 2024 is a beautifully poised cool climate Pinot Noir with purity, fragrance and finesse. The 2024 vintage shows a very pure aromatic profile, opening with violets, raspberry and floral notes before moving into a silky, long palate shaped by fine-grained tannins and natural acidity. This is a graceful, polished Pinot Noir with freshness, balance and plenty of drink now appeal.

30% whole bunches. Mv6 and 114. A deserved trophy winner for Best Geelong Pinot at last year's Pinot Challenge. A very bright crimson red. Bright as a button with its aromas of red fruits with some delicate rose petal and spice. Equally pretty and detailed on the palate and with the whole bunches nicely subsumed. The tannins are super silky and, as good as this is now, this will continue to evolve over the next 4 to 6 years. Philip Rich

About the Winery / Producer / Region

Bellbrae Estate is based on Victoria’s Surf Coast near Geelong and was established in 1999 on rolling hills just minutes from Bells Beach. The broader Bellbrae area also has a much older grape-growing story, with vineyards in the district dating back around 150 years. Today the estate is known for premium cool climate wines that reflect the freshness and elegance of the Geelong region.
