About The Wine

Barone Ricasoli Chianti DOCG 2024 is a bright and approachable Tuscan red built around the classic character of Sangiovese. Fresh, savoury and beautifully easy to enjoy, it brings together red cherry, wild strawberry, gentle spice and soft tannins in a medium bodied style.

This is a lovely everyday Italian red with plenty of authenticity. The 2024 vintage shows the youthful freshness Chianti is loved for, making it a great choice for pasta nights, antipasto, roasted vegetables, pizza, grilled meats and relaxed Italian style dining.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fresh red cherries, wild strawberries, red fruit and a gentle balsamic lift.

Palate: Medium bodied and smooth with bright Sangiovese acidity, soft young tannins, juicy red fruit and a touch of savoury spice.

Finish: Harmonious and persistent, with fresh cherry fruit and a lightly savoury Tuscan finish.

Serving Suggestions

Serve slightly cool at around 14 to 16 degrees. A great match for tomato based pasta, pizza, antipasto, roast chicken, salami, grilled vegetables and simple Tuscan inspired dishes.
