Ayinger Brauweisse Bottle 500ml

“Classic Bavarian wheat beer with banana, soft citrus, gentle spice and a smooth creamy finish.”

Ayinger Bräuweisse is a classic pale Bavarian wheat beer with all the fruit, softness and freshness you want from the style.

Bright gold and naturally cloudy, it opens with ripe banana, gentle yeast and fresh citrus. The palate is velvety and smooth, with lively carbonation giving it a refreshing lift, while subtle spice and fruit carry through to the finish. Ayinger describes it as one of its classic summer beers, and that makes perfect sense once you taste it.

A proper Bavarian Hefeweizen from one of the region’s most respected family breweries. It is soft, fresh and full of classic wheat beer character, but still beautifully balanced and easy to drink.

About The Brewery

Privatbrauerei Ayinger is based in Aying, south east of Munich, and is one of Bavaria’s best known independent family breweries.

Bräuweisse is a classic top fermented, yeast cloudy wheat beer made in the traditional Bavarian style. The beer is known for its bright golden colour, fine foam and unmistakable banana aroma, with a soft mouthfeel and delicate citrus spice through the finish.

It is exactly the sort of beer that reminds you why Bavarian wheat beer became such a classic in the first place. Banana, citrus, soft spice and a big foamy head. Job done.
