Antwerpse Radio Minerva Classic Triple is a generous Belgian Tripel with plenty of flavour, but a surprisingly easy drinking feel for the style. It is golden blonde, full bodied and nicely rounded, with fruity yeast character and soft spice running through the beer.

Red fruit comes through on the nose, followed by gentle spice, soft malt and a smooth creamy texture. At 7% ABV, it is a little lighter than many traditional Tripels, which gives it a lovely balance between richness and drinkability.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Red fruit, fruity Belgian yeast and gentle spice.

Palate: Full bodied and smooth with soft malt, ripe fruit and warming spicy notes.

Finish: Rounded and balanced with lingering fruit, spice and a gentle hoppy edge.

About The Brewery

Radio Minerva Tripel is brewed by Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie in Antwerp, Belgium. The brewery is known for combining classic Belgian brewing traditions with beers that have a strong connection to the city and its history.

This Tripel was originally created in collaboration with the iconic Antwerp radio station Radio Minerva to celebrate its 40th anniversary. It has since become a standout beer in the range and has been named World’s Best Tripel three times.

Brewed with oats, wheat and barley, along with European noble hops, it undergoes top fermentation followed by extended maturation. The result is a classic Belgian Tripel with plenty of body, fruit and spice, but a softer alcohol level than many beers in the style.
