About The Wine

Airlie Bank Gamay Grenache 2024 is a bright, juicy and expressive Yarra Valley red made for easy enjoyment. It brings together the perfume and lift of Gamay with the plush red fruit and gentle spice of Grenache, creating a lively, fresh and beautifully drinkable style. The wine is made from separately vinified parcels, with Grenache destemmed for purity and Gamay using a mix of whole bunch and whole berry fermentation for texture and fragrance. It is aged in neutral old oak to preserve freshness and fruit clarity.

This is the kind of red that works beautifully at room temperature or lightly chilled. Expect vibrant raspberry, boysenberry, spice, floral notes and a delicate mineral edge, all carried by refreshing acidity and a medium bodied palate.
