Yeringberg Marsanne Roussanne 2023 is a beautifully composed Rhône inspired white that balances texture and freshness with understated complexity. Marsanne brings savoury weight and gentle phenolic grip, while Roussanne adds aromatic lift and shape. The result is refined, quietly powerful and distinctly Yeringberg in its restraint and precision.
Halliday Wine Companion - 97 Points
A blend of 61/39% marsanne/roussanne from vines planted between '73 and '85. Unusually both varieties were picked on the same day, before being fermented and matured together. A deepish, bright green gold. Complex with aromas of pear, white nectarine, candied ginger and light floral scents. A little more restrained than the '22, this always gently textured wine finishes citrus pithy, chalky and long. Lovely. Philip Rich

Aroma: Pear skin, lemon rind and stone fruit with hints of white flowers, almond, chamomile and wet stone.

Palate: Medium-bodied and layered, showing orchard fruit and citrus with a rounded mouthfeel, subtle savoury detail and fine structure.

Finish: Long, dry and persistent with mineral drive and gentle spice.
Serving Suggestions
Serve at 10–12°C. A short decant or time in the glass will amplify texture and aromatic detail.

Yeringberg is one of the Yarra Valley’s most historic, estate-focused producers, renowned for classical winemaking, low yields and long-lived wines. The Yarra’s cool climate supports Rhône white varieties with natural acidity and aromatic clarity, allowing blends like Marsanne and Roussanne to show both generosity and precision without heaviness.
Cellaring Potential
Drinking well now with air, and well suited to cellaring until 2033+, where added honeyed, nutty and savoury complexity will emerge.
