About the Winery
Stargazer Wines is the passion project of winemaker Samantha Connew, established in 2012 in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley. Named in honour of Abel Tasman, the Dutch explorer and navigator, Stargazer focuses on small-batch, site-driven wines that reflect Tasmania’s unique terroir. With an emphasis on minimal intervention and expressive varietal character, Stargazer has quickly become one of Tasmania’s most acclaimed boutique producers.
