Corryton Burge Percival Norman Shiraz 2021 is a bold, beautifully structured Barossa Valley red named in tribute to Percival Norman Burge, the family patriarch whose legacy continues through sixth-generation winemakers Trent and Amelia Burge. Crafted from premium old-vine fruit and matured in fine French oak, this wine embodies depth, elegance, and the unmistakable richness that defines classic Barossa Shiraz.

A deep-set, black-fruited wine of considerable weight, concentration and oak heft. Aromas of satsuma plum, black cherry and blackberry fruits are cut with hints of baking spices, licorice, olive tapenade, fruit and nut chocolate and cedary vanillin oak. Glossy, deep black fruits on the palate with plenty of toasty oak, fine coal dust tannins, apple acidity and a real deep cassis-like swell on the back end. Dave Brookes

Pair with grilled ribeye steak, slow-cooked beef short ribs, or roast lamb with rosemary. Also a superb companion to hard cheeses and dark chocolate desserts. Decant before serving to enhance its aromatic complexity.
