Tahbilk Marsanne 2025 is a bright, fresh and beautifully distinctive Victorian white from one of Australia’s benchmark Marsanne producers. Crisp and aromatic in its youth, it shows citrus, green apple, white florals, pear and a clean mineral edge, with the kind of lively acidity that makes it wonderfully refreshing now.

This is one of Tahbilk’s signature wines and a brilliant choice for those who enjoy dry whites with texture, freshness and the ability to develop more complexity over time. Tahbilk notes its Marsanne is known for intense lemon, citrus and tropical fruit in youth, with richer honeysuckle and citrus marmalade characters emerging with cellaring.

About the Winery / Producer / Region

Tahbilk is one of Victoria’s most historic wineries, based in the Nagambie Lakes region of Central Victoria. Family owned for generations, Tahbilk has become especially famous for Marsanne, a white Rhône variety that has found a remarkable home in Nagambie Lakes. The estate is widely recognised for its long history with the variety, including old Marsanne plantings dating back to 1927. 

Nagambie Lakes has a distinctive inland Victorian climate shaped by warm days, cooling water influence and ancient soils. These conditions suit Marsanne beautifully, producing wines that are crisp and citrus driven when young, then develop honey, toast, marmalade and nutty complexity with bottle age. Tahbilk is also known as a carbon neutral winery, adding to its strong sustainability credentials.
